The objective of the Teen Strength and Conditioning Program is to ensure every student athlete (ages 12 and up) is provided with a sound in-season and off-season training program which will improve performance and prevent injury.

All athletes will work together in a safe and supportive team atmosphere. This is a conditioning program first. All athletes will be expected to perform bodyweight exercises like the pull up, push up and squat and exhibit the ability to run.

Athletes will learn proper movement mechanics, technique, and range of motion, as well as the fundamentals of barbell training in a safe, scalable environment. Weight training is inherently dangerous and should never be conducted by uneducated athletes or coaches. Coach Dan Miller is Olympic Lifting Certified.
